Curator Notes

Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels brings Games Workshop’s boarded corridors and Terminator squads onto PlayStation through Electronic Arts’ mid-nineties licensing line. The console edition follows the 3DO original; Krisalis’s conversion is the form this archive holds. Licensed tabletop properties of this period often survive only as reputation or as later digital reissues. The point of the filing is the pressed North American disc itself — SLUS-00205 — and what it records about how Warhammer 40,000 reached living-room hardware before online storefronts became the default path. The title is kept with the Original PlayStation collection as evidence of that licensed corridor of the catalog: tactical, severe, and dependent on a physical edition that is no longer in print.

Collection Documentation

Acquired in August 2026 while opening the Original PlayStation shelf. The retained copy is the North American PlayStation edition published by Electronic Arts (SLUS-00205). It remains complete in box with manual and cover insert, and is kept as the reference copy for this Space Hulk conversion. Dedicated artifact views of the individual copy have not yet been filed; the gallery below is held open for that documentation.

Preservation Notes

Access Hardware
Sony PlayStation; compatible North American PlayStation hardware
Original Hardware
Sony PlayStation · NTSC-U/C
Playback Compatibility
Pressed for North American PlayStation consoles. The retained disc remains the primary access copy.
Preservation Concerns
Optical-disc aging and surface damage remain the principal risks. The disc is stored upright in its original case under stable, dry conditions; printed materials remain housed with the copy.
Edition History
Originated on 3DO in 1995 before PlayStation, Saturn, and Windows editions. The North American PlayStation release was published by Electronic Arts in 1996 (SLUS-00205), with console conversion work associated with Krisalis Software. European PlayStation localization used a separate product code (SLES-00207).
Access Status
The original physical edition is out of print and circulates through the secondary market. No current digital edition replaces this reference copy.
